Our Pastor

Pastor Ben Eder

Rev. Ben Eder was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay and then briefly attended graduate school at UW-Milwaukee. Pastor Ben enrolled at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1985. As of this writing, Pastor Ben has served two parishes: the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word in Florence, SC (1985-1993); and Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Kenmore, NY (1993 - ).

In 1984, Pastor Ben married Linda Reynolds, a registered nurse. They have been blessed with two sons, Mark and Michael.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Ben served as Circuit Counselor for the Buffalo Circuit (English District) of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod; has written frequently for the "Lutheran Witness," the denominational magazine of the Synod; and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the English District - LCMS. He has served on numerous boards and committees of the District through the years. Pastor Ben is also active in various civic groups including the Lions Club of Kenmore and the Kenmore Village Improvement Society; he also participates in the rotation of "Lutheran 3-0", a radio program featured on WXRL AM 1300.

Pastor Ben enjoys the work of pastoral ministry and is truly blessed to be serving Christ and His Church in that capacity. To the Triune God alone be the glory!
